I complained because instead of dropping the patting thing at the end of last season it got made into even more of an issue, even after I had already previously drawn a line last season about it.  I could've just as easily built up his already massive ego with words as I could've with ass grabbing, but he wanted ass grabbing and that wasn't about to happen especially when the season hadn't even started and he hadn't even done anything yet.

As a result it cost me the first two games with a team in a season where it's pretty much all or nothing.

Also I fail to see how I replace him with someone that isn't worse than he was.

Maybe it's early and I'm not being optimistic about it but I don't see how I come back from that, get a coach that isn't Flips level awful and even come close to winning the title.

But instead of dumping the Head Coach EVERYONE knows is awful, you further inflated his ego all season and patted him on the back over and over and over and THEN re-signed him to a contract extension and paid him MORE money. Those were your decisions.     

3.) You played arguably the two best teams in the division and lost. I wouldn't say your season is done. That's a bit of an over reaction. The coach leaving is a good thing. To me, it was Ian giving you one hell of a break. He is rumored to go to the SL, which means one of those coaches is going to be available... but even if it's one of the shittier Head Coaches from the SL that he replaces, you still have Kirk Byways available and he's better than Shaw at least.

1.  It was after.  I felt that having him put on me in the first place was the wrench because I didn't get to choose my own coach.  This was more tightening the bolt.  If he wanted to leave he could've very easily done so after the season instead of waiting until now to do so, but what's done is done I guess.

2.  I kept patting him on the back because the team was winning, or at least doing well.  I don't remember but for the first part of the season I wasn't even sure how long his contract was actually for.  I re-signed him when I did find out because at the time my choices were to continue being saddled with him or end up with someone worse.  I chose what I felt to be the lesser of the two evils.

3.  At least there's Byways, who I had forgot about, so maybe replacement won't be so bad.  As I said maybe I wasn't being optimistic about it but it's not easy to be when you lose your coach and to the two teams you know you need to beat to even have a decent title shot all in the first two weeks of the season.
