Do what sounds the best. Tempe and Baton Rouge are open as mentionned previously.

Declaring interest literally means nothing....it just tells you if a player would be willing to come.

NOW when the stage passes and you need to send contracts out thats where you need to be careful....but again still worked out great for me.

This year's record has nothing to do with the fact that last year every agent viewed you like the the desperate kid looking for a prom date. Even your coach acknowledged that fact (I'd quote and paste here but your teams locked). Then had Rob not bailed you out, you would have had overpaid Val Keaton on your team

Declaring interest means a lot, it says at least one of the following:

1) You're looking to improve at a position
2) You view the players you are interested as someone you would like on your team
3) Someone is the missing piece to your success

Then there's the agent's side of it of having his time wasted waiting for a contract offer from someone who told them they are interested in their client.

And if you think I'm just reading too much into it, if it truly didn't affect you/matter, Ian wouldn't have had your coach make mention of it.

Welcome Tim. Some advice that a few haven't taken:

- Don't trade with Hondo
- Read over all the threads, not just one or two, all of them, get an idea how the game is played, how to submit contracts, deal with issues.
- Never blow your coach off
- Don't trade with Hondo
- Ask Franchsie what he would do, and do the opposite.
- Don't play under the influence
- Don't take the ribbing to personally. It's fun.
- Give it back. If someone ribs you for making a bad signing or trade, make fun of them.
- Have fun

Look through a couple of team's threads to get an idea of how things work. When I decided to play, I ghosted another team for a while, thinking about how I would react to their problems and what changes I would make. I suggest you pick a team （not a top team）and ghost them for the rest of the season.
