- WWE will continue to work with Hulu Plus to stream RAW, Main Event and SmackDown even though they will offer the same service with the WWE Network.

- Regarding the WWE Elimination Chamber airing on the WWE Network, word is that it will be available in late March. The Network launches on February 24th, the night after Elimination Chamber.

- There has been a lot of talk internally over the past week about what will air on the WWE Network while RAW and SmackDown is airing on TV. They will likely air what is shown on the WWE App and other similar backstage segments. There was also talk of going to a panel of stars, likely the same panel that's on the pre-show, while RAW and SmackDown is on commercial.

QuoteSatellite TV provider Dish Network has pulled all advertising for Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The show is no longer listed on the Dish website Sports & Wrestling Events page or the Dish channel guide. TNA pay-per-views are still listed. Based on this information, it appears that Dish Network is dropping WWE pay-per-views ahead of the launch of the WWE Network next week.

With WWE bundling their pay-per-view events on the $9.99/month Network, there has been a lot of buzz in the cable/satellite TV industry that top providers will be retaliating against WWE by no longer covering their events. Following the announcement of the WWE Network, a spokesperson for DirecTV told the Los Angeles Times:

"Clearly we need to quickly re-evaluate the economics and viability of their business with us, as it now appears the WWE feels they do not need their PPV distributors."

They added that sales WWE PPV events "have been steadily declining, and this new low-cost competitive offering will only accelerate this trend." DirecTV still has Elimination Chamber listed on their website as of this writing.

Checked my Dish On Screen Guide, and UFC 170 is on the schedule instead.

It's the price they pay for debuting the Network and keeping all the pieces of the pie mostly to themselves. I'm sure they expected some sort of backlash, but I'm sure that didn't include them not airing the last "traditional" PPV. But hey, if the Network does as well as people predict it will, then that revenue loss will be long forgotten.

"Just do the best you can with whatever gift God has given you, whatever intellect you have. Use it. Be good while you're doing it. Love your neighbor. Love the One that created you. Enjoy the cosmos. And rock on." - Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty

- WWE is now touting 1,000 hours of content for the WWE Network when it launches. At their announcement back in January, they promised 1,500 hours of footage at launch. The 400 pay-per-views alone will come close to 1,000 hours. As noted, more content will be added frequently but it looks like they're launching with just 1,000 hours of content.

WWE officially announced that Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will not be available on DISH Network. They sent us the following statement:

"WWE is pleased that the majority of our cable and satellite Pay-Per-View distributors are giving our fans an option to purchase traditional Pay-Per-Views as we prepare to launch WWE Network on Monday, February 24. Unfortunately, DISH will not be doing so. We hope DISH will reconsider for this Sunday's Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View event and especially for WrestleMania 30."

WWE confirmed in a statement today that DISH Network will not be carrying the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. DISH has released a statement to Zap2It and says they will continue to consider the value of WWE pay-per-view on an event-by-event basis:

"WWE has chosen to launch a 24/7 online network, without its TV partners, that includes all of its pay-per-view events. As WWE enters the increasingly fragmented media world by themselves, DISH will continue to consider the value of WWE pay-per-view on an event by event basis. DISH continues to provide a variety of WWE programming, including 'WWE Raw' on USA, 'WWE Smackdown' on Syfy, 'WWE Main Event' on Ion and 'WWE Total Divas" on E!. At this time, WWE pay-per-view events are not available on DISH."

DISH also posted the following on their Facebook page:

"DISH will not offer the 'WWE Elimination Chamber' PPV on 2/23. WWE is not willing to adjust their PPV costs to satellite and cable companies, which is unfair to their customers. We need to re-focus our efforts to support partners that better serve DISH customers. Other satellite and cable companies, including DIRECTV, have also expressed they may no longer provide WWE PPV events in the future."

- The bigger news coming out of the WWE Network programming lineup announcement on Wednesday is WWE going head-to-head with TNA's Impact Wrestling on Thursday nights. The Network will have a three hour block of programming on Thursday nights - Legends House at 8pm (beginning April 10th), NXT TV at 9pm (beginning March 6th) and Superstars at 10pm (beginning February 27th).

- It appears as if encores of new episodes of RAW and SmackDown will not be made available on the WWE Network, at least not for now. In their WWE Network FAQ, they updated the response about the encores of RAW, SmackDown and Main Event being on the Network to read, "the Best of Raw and SmackDown from 2012 and 2013 will be available on WWE Network."

- Just a reminder that you can sign up for a free one-week trial of WWE Network on Monday morning at 9 AM ET, so you don't have to wait until after RAW to register.
