- After Bo Dallas and Adam Rose come up to WWE's main roster, the next NXT stars in line to come up are Sami Zayn and NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension.

The Ascension I saw coming and while they are not the greatest they will at least help add some new blood to the tag division on the main roster and make room for them to build some more tag teams in NXT.

Sami Zayn will be a nice surprise, also heard Corey Graves was also on the list to be called up sooon but since he got that concussion at Access that may have changed.

With many talents being promoted to the main roster, look for Shaun Ricker (Slate Randall) to get a push on NXT TV soon. NXT Champion Adrian Neville will stay on NXT through the end of the summer at the very least.

Neither really excite me but if push comes to shove, I would give it to Sasha for awhile till Charlotte gets her groove then have her turn on Sasha, finally ending the Beautiful peo...I mean the BFF's and then enter into a program where she takes the belt off her.

- We noted back in November that NXT star Scott Dawson was out of action with a torn ACL. He was doing some minor training in December but was just cleared to get back in the ring this week. Dawson tweeted the following yesterday:

"Day 3 in the ring. Starting to feel normal again. By normal I mean, my body hurts! #Dawsome"

- NXT fan favorite Enzo Amore returned to training this past week. He's been out of action with a broken leg since last fall.

- The following matches were taped for tonight's WWE NXT episode but all likely won't air:

* Aiden English vs. Colin Cassady
* Camacho vs. Oliver Grey
* The Ascension vs. an unknown team
* The Great Khali vs. CJ Parker
* Jason Jordan and Ty Dillinger vs. Baron Corbin and Sawyer Fulton
* Adrian Neville vs. Brodus Clay

WWE will announce on tonight's NXT that NXT General Manager JBL will strip Paige of her NXT Women's Title because she can't hold that title and the WWE Divas Title at the same time. The segment will feature Paige initially refusing but finally agreeing.

The segment will be released online today and inserted into tonight's broadcast. It was likely produced at Monday's RAW.

A storyline that will crown a new NXT Women's Champion will kick off at tonight's tapings at Full Sail University.

WWE NXT Takeover to air LIVE on WWE Network on Thursday, May 29 at 8 p.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE announced today that NXT Takeover, a live, two-hour action-packed special, will air exclusively on WWE Network on Thursday, May 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Following the success of NXT ArRIVAL, the special will once again showcase the best and brightest from the WWE Performance Center and include appearances by WWE Superstars and Legends.

30 minutes prior to the event, the NXT Takeover pre-show will air at 7:30 p.m. ET and include exclusive interviews and appearances by NXT Superstars, WWE Superstars and Legends.

"As NXT continues to grow in popularity and our fans demand to see more of the next generation of WWE Superstars, we are going to deliver live, in-ring programs featuring up-and-coming talent on WWE Network," said Paul "Triple H" Levesque, Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. "Our live NXT specials on WWE Network bring out the very best in our performers and make for must-see TV for the WWE Universe."

On February 27, NXT ArRIVAL on WWE Network had 21 worldwide Twitter trends and was No. 3 in overall social mentions for primetime programs on both cable and broadcast. The event had more social mentions than American Idol, the Vikings premiere on History Channel, college basketball on ESPN and Vampire Diaries on CW.

* Kalisto and El Local (Ricardo Rodriguez) defeated The Legionnaires (Sylvester Lefort & Marcus Louis).

* Camacho defeated Captain Comic from Adam Rose's group of party people. Camacho had a confrontation with Rose after the match. (Our correspondent originally said Hunico had a confrontation with Rose. We apologize for the error.)

* Alexa Bliss defeated Alicia Fox in a match for the NXT Women's Title tournament.

* Up next is a battle royal to determine a new #1 contender to the NXT Title. Participants are Xavier Woods, Brodus Clay, Baron Corbin, Curt Hawkins, Aiden English, Jason Jordan, Danny Burch, Oliver Grey, Marcus Louise, Sylvester Lefort, Big Cass, Camacho, Mason Ryan, Kalisto, El Local, Mojo Rawley, Sami Zayn, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas and Tyson Kidd. * Tyson Kidd comes out for an in-ring confrontation with Neville to hype their match at Takeover.

* Big E defeated Bo Dallas. The stipulation was that if Bo won, he got a NXT Title shot and if he lost, he has to leave NXT.[/spoiler]

FORMER NEXUS MEMBER, SECOND GENERATION DIVA AND MORE RELEASED BY WWE

WWE released several NXT talents this afternoon.

Mason Ryan, a Welsh talent who had been brought up to the main roster for a short period of time as a member of the Nexus while it was under CM Punk's control. Ryan had been pushed in NXT as a big monster type but had disappeared from TV in recent months. He returned to TV on the last episode of NXT, losing to Tyson Kidd.

Shaul Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, who was in her second WWE developmental run. She was part of an early version of The Ascension during her first run and had not been used on TV during this run.

Oliver Grey, a British talent, who had just returned from a knee injury after being out for quite some time, losing to Camacho on NXT TV. He was formerly a tag team partner of Adrian Neville, who had been moved into a big singles role while Grey was injury.

Danny Burch, a British talent, had been signed since 2011. He debuted on NXT TV in 2013 but had never been given a regular role or push.
