OVW TV #720: "The War Rolls On"

This is the OVW Report. This episode can be seen online starting 06/06 at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez call out the Coalition, Jamin Olivencia discusses his recent title defenses and who his next one is against, Randy Royal has a TV Title defense against his friend and trainer Tony Gunn, Heidi Lovelace challenges Trina again, Jay Bradley is in action, plus more!

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Taeler Hendrix vs. Jessie Belle

Taeler pulls Jessie down by her hair twice, then Jessie returns the favor. She locks in a side headlock, and Taeler shoves her off into the ropes. Jessie comes off with a shoulder tackle, and then places Taeler in a back submission. Nikki St. John runs out and distracts the ref, and Jessie drops Taeler. Taeler kicks Jessie's knee and then places her in a submission, before reaching back with her leg and kicking Jessie in the head, and getting the 3.

WINNER: TAELER by pinfall.

The Bodyguy vs. "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer

Dumeyer locks an armbar on Bodyguy, but Bodyguy gets in the ropes. Bodyguy then places Dumeyer in an armbar, but Dumeyer reverses, and again Bodyguy grabs the ropes. Bodyguy gets up and runs into a couple hip tosses. Dumeyer goes for a third, but Bodyguy blocks it and pulls him down by his head. He elbows him and pulls his arms back in a submission. He goes for an elbow drop, but misses. He snapmares Dumeyer, but misses a kneedrop. Dumeyer fires back and kicks him in the gut. He goes for a bulldog, but Bodyguy holds on in the corner. Bodyguy poses in the corner with his back turned and Dumeyer rolls him up for 3.

WINNER: DUMEYER by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez come to the ring. Ali says they didn't fire the first shot. They won the battle at SNS, but the Generals couldn't get the job done, and like cowards, attacked them after the match. They call them out. Crimson comes out alone and says they've lost their marbles or bumped their heads getting up this morning. He says because of them, Jason Wayne is at a Louisville VA Hospital receiving medical attention. Ali shows footage of what happened at SNS, and Crimson yells that he footage has been doctored. Michael challenges him, and Crimson gets in the ring.

They start fighting, but the rest of the Coalition comes out and attacks Ali at ringside, and then jump in the ring and start attacking Hayes. Ali gets back up and grabs a steel chair and chases the Coalition off.

Backstage, Jessie Godderz is on the phone and is approached by Rudy Switchblade. It was hard to hear, but Rudy says something to Jessie and has a match next.

"The Ken of OVW, Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling, & King of Pink" Dylan Freak'n Bostic vs. Rudy Switchblade

Rudy delivers a big slam to Dylan. He kicks him in the back and hits a shoulder tackle. He locks in an armbar. Dylan shoves him into the ropes, but Rudy hits him with another shoulder tackle. After a third shoulder tackle, Rudy delivers a hip toss and a dropkick. He rams Dylan's head into the turnbuckle and hits a flying body press. He does back scratch fever, and goes to throw Dylan off the ropes. Dylan reverses, but Rudy hangs in the ropes. Dylan charges, and Rudy drops to the mat. Dylan stops and drops an elbow, but Rudy moves. He flips in, but Dylan puts his knees up. He hits a dropkick, but Rudy comes back. He locks in a Boston crab, but Dylan grabs the ropes. He takes Rudy down and goes up top. He flies off, but Rudy jumps up and hits a Rudy-K-O for 3.

WINNER: RUDY by pinfall.

Taeler is talking to Nikki St. John and again it was hard to hear, but she said something about Heidi being worthless. She sees Heidi approaching and starts fake crying, telling Heidi she is upset about SNS and what Trina has said about her. Heidi apologizes for what happened at SNS, but will challenge Trina again tonight. We then see VIP and J. Best talking and they hit the lights as they leave. A blue light shows the Assassin standing in the background.

Jamin Olivencia comes to the ring and says that he beat Jessie Godderz at SNS, who snuck in to get a title shot. He then says he beat one of the best in the world, Doug Williams, who tried to make excuses and do everything he could to win, but it wasn't enough. He says at the next SNS on July 6, he defends against Rob Terry. He is the champion, though, and some might see it as David vs. Goliath, but he doesn't. He's not afraid of Rob Terry, and told Rob that he won't be the one climbing a mountain, Rob will, as he holds up the title.

Randy Royal approaches Tony Gunn and asks him what he is doing. First SNS, and now a title shot tonight? Gunn says he's doing it for Randy's own good. We then see referee Chris Sharpe delivering news from Danny Davis to Crimson that the rest of the Coalition is banned from his match and have been ordered to leave the building, angering Crimson.

Heidi Lovelace vs. Trina

Trina shoves Heidi, and Heidi snaps and spears Trina. Heidi runs at Trina, but is caught and slammed. Trina delivers a samoan drop, but Taeler Hendrix & Nikki St. John run out and attack Trina.

WINNER: TRINA by DQ.

Taeler & Nikki deliver a pedigree-like maneuver to Trina and leave her laying in the ring.

"Lonesome" Jay Bradley vs. Ryan Howe

Jay backs Howe into the corner. Howe comes out and locks Jay in a side headlock. Jay grabs him by the hair and shoves him in the corner. He charges, but Howe moves and delivers a fireman's carry out of the corner. Jay comes back with a slam and stomps Howe. He misses an elbow drop, and Howe locks in a side headlock again. Jay breaks out, kicks Howe, and slings him across the top rope. He stomps him again and throws him hard into the corner. He delivers a big backdrop for 2. He locks in an abdominal stretch. Howe breaks free and rolls Jay up with a backslide for 2. Howe hits his sliding punch, a dropkick, and charges after Jay, but Jay catches him and throws him across the top rope. Howe turns into the Boomstick for 3.

WINNER: BRADLEY by pinfall.

After the match, Jay tells Jamin Olivencia that he hopes Jamin didn't forget about him. He says while he was talking about climbing a mountain, Jay was beating Sam Shaw on PPV. So he has a chance at the TNA World Heavyweight Title in the Bound for Glory Series, and wants to make a pit stop and win the OVW Heavyweight Title on his way there.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Tony Gunn vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (c)

Royal & Gunn shake hands before the match. They exchange hip tosses. Gunn hits a suplex with bridge for 2. He hits an arm drag. He hits Royal and continues besting him on every exchange. He tries a small package and a cross body, each for a count of 2. Royal grabs his chest and starts saying his heart is hurting. Referee Chris Sharpe throws up an 'X'. Gunn has his back turned as Sharpe calls for help. Royal sneaks back up and rolls Gunn up for 3.

WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: ROYAL by pinfall.

"General" Crimson vs. Michael Hayes (w/Mohamad Ali Vaez)

Crimson refuses to start the match until Ali leaves. The ref makes Ali leave, and Crimson attacks Hayes from behind. He scrapes Hayes' face across the top rope and then slams Hayes' head into the steps on the outside. Back inside, he steps on Hayes' face and delivers a big boot. He stands over him and drops his weight across Hayes' back. He locks in a camel clutch. He then boots him in his gut in the corner. He charges, but runs into a back elbow by Hayes. Hayes runs out, but Crimson catches him and rams him back into the corner. He locks in a headlock, but Hayes headbutts Crimson. He gets back to his feet, but Crimson hits him with a clothesline. He tries to pin for 2. He locks in the camel clutch again, and drops his weight across Hayes' back. The third time, Crimson gets hit low. Hayes delivers several headbutts to Crimson's chest. Crimson throws Hayes to the corner and charges, but Hayes moves, and Crimson runs into referee Chris Sharpe in the corner. Hayes rolls Crimson up, but Sharpe's down. Jason Wayne runs out, who is not at the VA hospital as Crimson said, and rolls Crimson over on top of Hayes. Wayne hides at ringside, but Ali runs out and flips Hayes back on top of Crimson. Sharpe turns around and makes the pin. Wayne pops up and can't believe what happened.

WINNER: HAYES by pinfall.

After the match, Ali tells the Generals that it's now official. At the next SNS on July 6, they will meet once again in tag team action and the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles are on the line!

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz, "Mysterious" Cody Castle, & "The Pastor of Disaster" Stuart Perry vs. Stephon J. Baxter III, Adam Revolver, & Eddie F. Diamond (w/Timmy Danger)

Godderz kept yelling at his teammates the entire match. They finally jumped off the apron and refused to tag in. Jessie was hit by a Stephon butt bump, Revolver slammed him, and Eddie hit the Soulja Boy Shuffle for 3.

WINNER: DIAMOND, REVOLVER, & BAXTER by pinfall.

Nikki St. John vs. Epiphany (w/Eddie Diamond & Timmy Danger)

Epiphany shoves Nikki down and locks in a side headlock. She hits a shoulder tackle and locks her in a submission stretch. She walks across Nikki's stomach and then delivers a big slam. She misses an elbow drop, and Nikki kicks her and tries to pin her for 1. She locks in a legscissors. Epiphany breaks out, and claws Nikki in the stomach. She throws her in the corner and runs in and splashes her. She hits some butt thrusts in the corner. She throws her in the opposite corner and charges, but Nikki moves. She kicks Epiphany and then runs in with a dropkick down low. She tries to pin for 2. She knees Epiphany in the face, but Epiphany grabs her leg and drops her. She picks her up and goes for a slam, but Taeler Hendrix runs out and grabs Epiphany's legs, tripping her. Nikki falls on top of Epiphany as Taeler continues to hold Epiphany's legs down for 3.

WINNERS: NIKKI by pinfall.

"The Ken of OVW, Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling, & King of Pink" Dylan Freak'n Bostic vs. Eddie F. Diamond (w/Epiphany, Timmy Danger, Bobbi Bardot, & Cinnamon Twist)

A back and forth match, but Diamond loses focus when he smiles over at Epiphany at ringside, allowing Bostic to roll him up from behind with a handful of tights for 3.

WINNER: BOSTIC by pinfall.

The 2 men lock up and 4M throws Rudy down. Rudy locks 4M up from behind, but 4M slings him off. He charges Rudy in the corner, but Rudy moves. Rudy punches and kicks 4M in the corner. She butt bumps Hannah in the corner, and then Lylah does the same. Epiphany goes for a big slam on Hannah, but Lylah tags herself in. Holly dropkicks Hannah on top of Epiphany. Lylah runs in from the tag, but is caught in a double Rock Blossom for the pin

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Jay Bradley comes out and talks about Danny Davis telling him he has to earn a title shot. He says he is a blue collar guy and doesn't mind working hard and getting his hands dirty, as he is all about "winning ugly". He says he took out the #3 contender in line, Ryan Howe, last week. He says this week, he wants #2, who happens to be Randy Royal. Randy comes out with Tony Gunn and says nothing against Jay, but he already has a title match against Sam Shaw. Gunn takes the mic away and says he is sure Sam will understand, and accepts the match for Royal. Royal takes the mic back and says no. Gunn takes it back and says yes, as Jay gets out of the ring in Gunn's face and asks if he is accepting. Royal attacks Jay from behind and we are underway...

"Lonesome" Jay Bradley vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/Tony Gunn)

Royal throws Jay into the steps. He hits and stomps Jay in the ring and delivers a knee to the face. Jay starts to fire back, but Royal hits his reverse Russian leg sweep. Jay comes back with a clothesline and a spinning uppercut to the back. He lifts Royal up on his shoulders, but Royal gouges his eyes. While the ref checks on Jay, Royal pulls out a chain. Gunn jumps up on the apron and takes it away. With Royal distracted, Jay recovers, and Royal turns into the Boomstick for 3.

WINNER: BRADLEY by pinfall.

After the match, Jay says that was #2, so you know what that means...as Rob Terry's music hits. Jay leaves the ring as Terry enters and says Jamin Olivencia is his opponent at SNS. Jamin was able to do something many others were unable to, and that was beat Doug Williams for the title. He respects Jamin, but the only thing he fears is himself and what he can do. Jamin comes to the ring and they have a face-off, but shake hands before leaving.

Jessie Belle vs. Lei'd Tapa

Jessie Belle ducks a clothesline, but Tapa kicks her and throws her across the top rope. Tapa charges her in the corner, but runs into a back elbow. She goes back after her, but Jessie Belle jumps up to try for a hurricanrana. Tapa blocks it, and powerbombs her instead. She puts a foot across Jessie Belle's chest, but she kicks out at 2. Tapa then hits her spinning diamond cutter finisher for 3.

WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

Gilbert Corsey brings out a very special guest, TNA superstar Joseph Park!

Park waves to everyone and talks about just training here in OVW over the last year and now he's an official member of the IMPACT roster. He then discusses TNA coming to Louisville on July 18th, before being interrupted by the Coalition's Generals

They come with steel chairs in hand, but they are for Park and Crimson to sit in and talk. They tell Park they are real war heroes and their opponents at SNS, Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez are not. They tell Park that they attack people and have a secret lair, and ask if he is licensed in Kentucky and can make their match at SNS go away. Park says it is against his better judgment, but he trusts them and wants to see this "lair".

Fabiano Rolento-to-to vs. Rockstar Spud

I am a huge fan of Fabiano and was glad to see him return tonight. Fabiano pulls Spud by his hair into the ropes, but Spud comes back and tries to roll Fabiano up 3 different ways for 2. He shoots off the ropes with a body press for 2 again. Fabiano comes back with a slam and an "Ole!" He misses an elbow drop, and Spud fights back and hits his roll up bomb for 3.

WINNER: SPUD by pinfall.

NON-TITLE MATCH: Taeler Hendrix (w/Heidi Lovelace) vs. Trina (c)

Taeler offers a handshake, but Trina pulls her into a clothesline. After a few more clotheslines, she hits Taeler with a back elbow. She pulls her face first into the canvas. She locks in a full nelson and elbows Taeler across the back. She throws her in the corner and clotheslines her. She slams her down twice by her head. Taeler has a chain and goes to swing it at Trina but it goes flying as she turns into a clothesline. Taeler rols out of the ring and uses Heidi as a shield. Trina pushes Heidi aside, allowing Taeler to hit Trina from behind and ram her into the ringpost. She rolls Trina in the ring and pins her with her feet on the ropes for the win.

WINNER: TAELER by pinfall.

J. Best (w/"VIP" Joe Rosa & the VIP Club) vs. "Off the Wall" Sam Shaw

Shaw rams Best in the corner. VIP gets on the apron, and Shaw goes after him, allowing Best to hit him from behind. Best throws him off the ropes, but Shaw comes off with a Lou Thesz press. The VIP Club gets on the apron, and Shaw hits them all off. Best hits Shaw from behind again, but Shaw comes back and hits Best with his backbreaker/neckbreaker combo for the pin.

WINNER: SHAW by pinfall.

After the match, the Assassin's music hits and he comes out and takes out Austin Bradley of the VIP Club.

The Coalition's Generals come out and do their Pledge to the Coalition, and then call out Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez, and then Joseph Park. Park tells Ali & Hayes he's disappointed...that they haven't kicked the Coalition's butt already! He tells the Generals that he watches OVW TV every week and they can't pull the wool over his eyes. He then tells the Coalition that he talked with OVW officials and at SNS, the titles WILL be on the line, AND it is now a No Disqualification match!

Crimson & Wayne attack Park, Hayes, & Ali as the rest of the Coalition comes out.

Rudy Switchblade, Sam Shaw, Rockstar Spud, & Ryan Howe run out to even the odds as Park comes back and clotheslines Shiloh Jonze over the top rope and throws Joe Coleman out of the ring. Park grabs a mic and says that also at SNS, Spud, Howe, Rudy, & Shaw will be handcuffed to the rest of the Coalition at ringside!

This ended the TV taping.

Park also told everyone that he enjoys making matches and he hopes Danny Davis doesn't get mad at him, but after intermission, those 8 men will face off tonight!

Post-Show Dark Matches:

The Bodyguy & Fabiano Rolento-to-to vs. LAMBDA LAMBDA LAMBDA: Albert Einstein & Stephon J. Baxter

Albert & Stephon both work over Bodyguy's arm. Bodyguy slams Stephon and tags out to Fabiano. Fabiano runs in into a drop toehold from Stephon. Stephon & Albert with a double hiptoss to Fabiano. Albert throws Fabiano from corner to corner and then hits him with a hip toss. Fabiano distracts the ref, allowing Bodyguy to hit Stephon from behind. Fabiano tags Bodyguy, but Albert is able to get the tag to Stephon. Stephon is on fire and hits the big butt bump to Bodyguy. Fabiano breaks a pin attempt as Albert runs in. Fabiano throws Albert to the outside and follows him to the floor distracting Stephon. Bodyguy rolls Stephon up from behind with a handful of tights for the pin.

WINNER: FABIANO & BODYGUY by pinfall.

The Coalition: "Thunderlats" Joe Coleman, Shiloh Jonze, Ghillie Man, & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta vs. "Off the Wall" Sam Shaw, Rockstar Spud, Ryan Howe, & Rudy Switchblade

A pretty good back and forth match, but this one didn't last long as referee Josh Ashcraft lost control and the Generals ran out causing a DQ. Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez ran out to even the odds and Hayes, Spud, Ali, Howe, Shaw, & Rudy stood tall to end the night, running the Coalition off.

WINNERS: RUDY, SHAW, SPUD, & HOWE by DQ.

OVW TV #722: "Big Rob vs. Boomstick; Coalition Calamity"

This is the OVW Report. This episode can be seen online starting 06/20 at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, the tables are turned when Rob Terry calls out Jay Bradley, Heidi Lovelace goes against Lei'd Tapa, Randy Royal defends the OVW TV Title against Sam Shaw, Jessie Godderz faces Rockstar Spud, Marcus Anthony is in action, the Coalition causes chaos again to end the show, plus more!

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"The Ken of OVW, Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling, & King of Pink" Dylan Freak'n Bostic vs. Tony Gunn

Dylan locks Gunn up from behind and takes him down. Gunn gets up, shoves Dylan, and then takes him down. Dylan rolls out for a breather. He gets on the apron, and Gunn flips him back in the ring. He hits a monkey flip in the corner and a DDT for 2. He goes for another monkey flip, but Dylan moves and pulls him down to the mat. Dylan hits him and elbows him in the corner. He delivers a snapmare and locks in a headlock. Gunn elbows out, runs off the ropes, but is caught by a dropkick. Dylan tries to pin for 2. He throws Gunn in the corner and charges, but Gunn moves and tries to roll him up. Dylan blocks him and chops him. He delivers a slam and goes for a moonsault off the ropes, but misses. Gunn with a clothesline, a dropkick, and a backdrop. He then hits a reverse DDT for 3.

WINNER: COALITION by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Rob Terry comes out to start the show and says it will be him vs. Jamin Olivencia at SNS on July 6th, but he's sick and tired of Jay Bradley running around looking to become #1 contender, and challenges him for his #1 contendership tonight. Jay comes out and says Rob is ruining his fun of boomsticking people. He's not ready to compete right now, but the main event slot is open, and seeing as he is in the BFG series and is a PPV star, he'll fight him in the main event. Rob says he will break him limb by limb and bumps Jay on his way out of the ring. Before Rob can get out, Jay attacks him and focuses on Rob's knee. He goes to the outside and grabs a chair, and goes to town on Rob's knee before officials finally get him out of the ring.

We get a promo for the official debut of the Bodyguy coming soon.

Paredyse vs. "Strongest Gamer Alive" Marcus Anthony

Marcus throws Paredyse into the ropes, and hits him with a shoulder block. He hits him with another, and throws Paredyse hard into the corner. He throws him into another corner and charges. Paredyse leaps over Marcus and slaps his butt, which only appears to anger Marcus. Paredyse jumps on his back and gouges his eyes. He hits a hurricanrana sending Marcus into the corner, followed by a dropkick. Marcus catches him with a clothesline. He hits a big slam, but misses the Gamma Punch. Paredyse hits 3 dropkicks, and runs at Marcus, but is caught with the Gamma Punch finisher for 3.

Heidi Lovelace vs. Lei'd Tapa

Heidi strikes and kicks Tapa, but Tapa takes her down with a big headbutt. She throws her hard in the corner and charges. Heidi moves and jumps on Tapa's back. Tapa slings her down. She hits a slam, a big boot, and finishes Heidi off with the spinning diamond cutter for 3.

WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

Jessie Godderz is on the phone with his agent, who apparently tries to fire him, and Jessie yells in the phone that he's fired. Eddie Diamond is talking to Bobbi Bardot, and asks if she has seen his phone. Epiphany walks up with his phone and asks why he has a picture of Lei'd Tapa on it. He explains that he was doing "research" if Epiphany should face her in the future. We then see Rob Terry being checked on, when Jay Bradley runs in and attacks Rob and his knee again.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "Off the Wall" Sam Shaw vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (c)

Shaw grabs a mic and says Tony Gunn is a friend and that's why he allowed Randy to wait another week to defend the title, but he doesn't like the way Randy is doing things. Royal kicks him and chops him in the corner. He goes for a backdrop, but Shaw flips out, hits him, and hits a dropkick. He delivers a monkey flip and hits the Lou Thesz press. Referee Chris Sharpe tells him to make sure his fists are open, allowing Royal to sneak a chain out of his tights and around his hand. Shaw turns into a loaded fist for 3.

WINNER: ROYAL by pinfall.

After the match, Tony Gunn runs out and tells Sharpe what happened, and then exposes the chain. Sharpe orders the match to restart, and Royal shoves Gunn.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "Off the Wall" Sam Shaw vs. "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (c).

Gunn shoves Royal to the mat and tells him he's done with him. Royal gets up and knocks Gunn out of the ring to the floor. He turns into a clothesline from Shaw, a dropkick, and the backbreaker/neckbreaker combo, but the Coalition runs out and attacks Shaw.

WINNER: SHAW by DQ.

Michael Hayes, Mohamad Ali Vaez, Ryan Howe, Rockstar Spud, & Rudy Switchblade all run out and there is chaos in the ring. Crimson & Jason Wayne had set up a chair between the top 2 turnbuckles in the corner, and send Shaw through it during all the commotion. The Coalition retreats to the locker room as Hayes, Ali, Spud, Howe, & Rudy check on Shaw.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP for the OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Jay Bradley vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry.

Jamin Olivencia came out first and joined Gilbert Corsey & Michael Titus on commentary. Rob clubs Jay, but Jay kicks him in the bad knee. Rob hits Jay in the gut, but Jay kicks his knee. He twists Rob's knee in a submission hold. Jamin stands up at the announce table and yells at Rob to dig deep. Rob shoves Jay off. He is able to hit the massive powerslam and get the 3.

WINNER and (STILL) #1 CONTENDER: TERRY by pinfall.

Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez dart to the ring. Ali says their friend Sam Shaw had to be taken to the hospital, because of another cowardly attack. He calls out the Coalition and wants them now, and doesn't want to wait for Saturday Night Special. Rockstar Spud, Rudy Switchblade, & Ryan Howe run out for backup as the Coalition comes to the ring. The Coalition ends up getting the upperhand, thanks in large part to shots with the baton that Jason Wayne uses. Hayes & Ali are left laying in the middle of the ring, and the Generals spray paint yellow lines down their backs and call them the cowards. Jason Wayne recites the Coalition's pledge to deafening boos from the crowd to end the show.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

The Bodyguy & Fabiano Rolento-to-to vs. Rudy Switchblade & Ryan Howe

Rudy came out playing the harmonica to accompany Howe's guitar playing. A good back and forth match with the comedy spots played well by Fabiano. In the end, Rudy catches Fabiano in the Boston crab while Howe keeps Bodyguy from interfering, for the tapout.

WINNER: RUDY & HOWE by submission.

Taeler Hendrix & Nikki St. John vs. Hannah & Holly Blossom

Taeler stayed on the run to start the match, but attacked Hannah when her back was turned. Nikki came in and worked her over a bit and kept her from tagging Holly. Taeler came back in and locked in a sleeper, but Hannah broke free and tagged Holly. Holly hit a Lou Thesz press on Taeler and then hit a back elbow to Nikki. Hannah came back in and fought with Nikki to the outside. Holly flips over Taeler and tries to roll her up for a pin, but Taeler drops down on Holly's shoulders and hooks her leg for 3.

Castle tried to use his speed and agility, but it was no match for the powerful Roberto. Roberto kept catching Castle and making him pay. He hit a swinging side slam for 3 for the win.

WINNER: DE LUNA by pinfall

Early Fireworks?

Episode #724 will be taped Wednesday, July 3rd.

The summer is heating up and you can bet there will be fireworks a day early in Louisville! The superstars of OVW will clash in the Davis Arena just days before the next Saturday Night Special on July 6th!

The Coalition again ambushed their opposition last week, but it wasn't enough. Now there are Real American Heroes (Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez) as the new OVW Southern Tag Team Champions. How does this change General Crimson & General Wayne's game plan heading into SNS as the challengers?

How will Jamin Olivencia react to the chair shot he received last week from "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry? Was it really an accident?

The Double R Superstar continues to win by any means necessary in order to hold on to the OVW Television Title. Can he keep it in his grasp, or will his former friend Tony Gunn give him a wake-up call and take it away from him?

Will Eddie Diamond be forgiven by Epiphany? Can "Mr. Pec-Tacular" ever get back in the win column?

Will Jay Bradley still be looking to get in the title picture? Has Taeler Hendrix done enough to get herself into an OVW Women's Title match against Trina?

In the back, Dylan Bostic is approached by Randy Royal and Royal says that the TV Title is eventually coming back to "this ole boy". Dylan says it's because of his interference in Tony Gunn's match Saturday night that got Elvis DQ'd that he has to defend the TV Title against Gunn tonight. Royal says that's not right and good luck. Dylan mumbles "Who Sucks Now?" as Royal walks off, and Royal yells back "What'd you say?" off-camera. Dylan says "Nothing".

"VIP" Joe Rosa (w/"The VIP Club" J. Best & Roberto De Luna) vs. Yaden Matthews

Yaden starts out on fire, and takes Rosa down with a side headlock takedown. Best gets on the apron distracting Yaden, allowing Rosa to poke him in the eyes. He stomps him in the corner, but Yaden comes back with a facebuster and a russian leg sweep. Best & Berto jump on the apron, and Yaden knocks them both off. "Rudo" Raul LaMotta, Joe Coleman, & Shiloh Jonze come to the ring. Shiloh says the Coalition was arrested Sunday for breaking and entering Michael Hayes' home. After a lot of bargaining and plea deals, the 3 men in the ring are standing here and are what made the Coalition run. He says the Generals always talked about power and success, but along the way, they lost the way. He asks "What good is being king, if there is no kingdom"? Coleman says they were promised championships and glory, and if you look at the record books, they were undefeated as a team and unstoppable. Raul says they saw the writing on the wall, and that's why they went out and recruited a new member, Flash Flanagan. Flash says he's been accepted by these guys, and will watch their backs, and they will watch his. Shiloh says you can say they have been dishonorably discharged, and can now call them "The Marauders".

In the back, Jamin Olivencia is seen walking in. We then see Jay Bradley walking out of an office saying something about having the contract signing tonight.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The King of Pink & Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic (c) vs. Tony Gunn

He throws him in the corner, and Dylan catches him with a boot to the face. He goes for a flying dropkick, but Gunn moves. Gunn fires away again on the mat. WINNER: ELVIS by countout.

Jessie can't believe he lost again.

In the back, Taeler Hendrix is talking to some new girls. They walk out and come across Jamin Olivencia laid out on the floor.

Gilbert Corsey is in the ring for the contract signing between Jay Bradley and Jamin Olivencia for the August Saturday Night Special. Jay comes out first and says that Jamin can't come out. He said he was discussing the contract with "Nacho Olivares" in the back, and he got so flustered that he passed out. He said he was scared of how big and bad he was, and has never faced anyone like that. Gilbert says Jamin just defeated Rob Terry at SNS. Jay says Jamin has already signed and all he has to do is add his name. As he's signing, Jamin runs out, flips the table up on Jay and pounds away on him. Jay leaves the ring as Jamin paces back and forth in the ring.
