- On Wednesday Titus O'Neil tweeted about he received some good WWE Network news, teasing that he may have a bigger role on the Network. Darren Young tweeted the following and it appears "PTP TV" will be on the Network:

"The #PrimeTimePlayers received some fantastic news 2Day about the @WWENETWORK launch in 40 Days! #MillionsOfDollars #DailyDoseofPTPTV?"

- When the WWE Network launches, only about 1.5% of WWE's total video library will be accessible. It's said that very little of the content will be old territorial footage. While WWE will add new content weekly, they will also remove content from time to time.

Can't say that I am surprised by that..

- Darren Young continues to post teasers for he and Titus O'Neil's own WWE Network show:

"A day in the life of a #PTPer? MAYBE? See what the road is really like 4 @titusoneilwwe & I...#millionsofdollars #SLEEPONIT @wwenetwork"

- For those wondering, internal communication within WWE indicates that WrestleMania will always be free on the WWE Network, not just this year.

- As noted, the cast of WWE Legends House was brought to Orlando last week to tape something for the show. This could have been a reunion-style special or just more footage for the show. The feeling is Legends House won't debut until around WrestleMania XXX so it won't be one of the shows that begins when the Network launches in February.

- We noted earlier this weekend that very little of the content on the WWE Network will be old territorial footage and while WWE will add new content weekly, they will also be removing content from time to time.

It's being said that there will be 5-10 hours per week of material that's put up and taken down that doesn't fit into the parameters of every DVD release and all the pay-per-views. There will be very little content from the defunct 1980's promotions. There will be some 80's content but the concentration will be the 90's and 00's, WWE, WCW and ECW.

- There's no word yet if WWE will immediately air the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view replay on the WWE Network. PWInsider reached out to WWE for comment but they wouldn't give one. The Network launches the night after Elimination Chamber.

The TeeJ of Philly

All content providers take down content from time to time. Things fall out of demand, don't draw, bog down servers. I'd be amazed if they didn't plan on that.

Black Death

yeah netflicks does that like every 6 months or so
"Asuka, gives you two thumbs up"

It sounds like very little, but I believe 1.5% of their library is still 1,500 hours of footage.

The main thing from my point of view is they have a good mix of content from a few different promotions and eras.

Cheers,
Duckman

- It's said that WWE will go out of their way to counter-program anything else on TV that they are even remotely concerned about once the Network launches. As noted before, the first live NXT special will go head-to-head with TNA's Impact Wrestling.

- You may remember during the WWE Network presentation a few weeks back that Michelle Wilson, when talking about platforms that will support the Network, referred to "a connected device that I am not allowed to mention at this press conference." Apparently she was talking about Apple TV. 9to5mac.com has an article up about the Network coming to Apple TV. Attendees at the Network event in Las Vegas were given mini Apple TV's in WWE packaging, as seen below:
