Than you poison the food

hey you warned them

that will teach them

I don't buy anything really that isn't prepackaged.  If I did, I'd make sure there was some Ex-Lax in it for him to learn his lesson.

UGH.

Pathetic people from my old fed who decide to troll me on twitter now I've won a championship in my new fed.

I woke up at 4.45am to find my phone going crazy with twitter pushes from 2 different assholes.

The block user function works like a charm.

But seriously, you did everything in your power to push me out of somewhere that I was truly settled, why can you not just fuck off and let me be?

Sorry you're having a rough time bro. I'm a pm away if you wanna talk.

Ty

Just a big ole fuck you to a certain government.

When I was 18, I stole a roll of duct tape from the place I worked. I was in charge of loss prevention at the store (walmart) so the judge deemed it worthy of getting sentenced over. It got dragged through the courts for 2 years and finally, I got a charge for theft under 5000 ($1000 fine, 100 community service, 1 year probation, and 1.60 in restitution. Yeah, classified as a minority sucks). Fast forward to earlier this year, I went to an ombudsman and with his help, he was able to convince the courts that I was unjustly charged and had the charge annulled (changed to a discharge which I was initially sentenced to anyways but got fucked over and somehow during the paperwork process it was changed and despite fighting it, I was told there was nothing they could do. Fuck the Canadian Court system for being modelled after the american court system).

So, a few months ago, I decided since I didn't have any work contracts (or jobs) at the time, it would be a good time to relax and move to Japan for a while to help look after my sick mother-in-law. I priced tickets and it was $600 cheaper to fly through Denver than just the normal route I take (which is through Vancouver) so I bought with United. When I got to Denver, I was taken aside at customs because they had my finger-prints in the system. I was put in the interrogation room for 4 1/2 hours where they repeatedly asked me the same questions (I have no criminal record in Canada and therefore I can enter and exit the states whenever legally). Since I have no criminal record but my prints were in the system, I was deported from the states (they made it so perfectly clear that, even though I thought it was legal which it was, they were being gracious enough to deport me to Japan but I couldn't fly back through the states. So, that means I had cancel my return tickets for January (and the tickets for my wife and baby) and buy new ones when I decided to come home ($3800).

It gets more fucked than that.

My application to stay in Japan (Canadians are legally allowed to stay in 6 months without a visa, I applied for a short one where I could work legally while I stayed about 8 months) and it got denied and I was asked to go home before September due to 'security issues brought forth by the United States' that needed to be resolved before any applications could be accepted. Since they deported me, the American security sent reports to the Canadian gov and the Japanese gov stating I was a security risk. So, I went back to Canada and started trying to clear things up.

I found out this week that my job (I get contracts from the gov) won't be able to offer me anymore contracts because of security reasons. The american government sending the report means that their insurance can no longer cover me (I'm not bondable or something) and in order to legally provide me work, I'm going to have to provide documentation on why I was deemed a security risk. Any request for documentation or information that I've requested, my work has requested and a lawyer has requested have been denied due to security reasons in the states. So, I'm not longer eligible for contracts (my most recent one was $6000 over 2 months and I had another that was going to be about $4500 over a month and a bit after that.)

Here's the real kicker. There's a way to resolve the issue. The American embassy is able to set me up with a court date in which I can present my case to get everything fixed.... in Virginia (the country I'm not allowed to enter).

So, fuck, none of this makes sense to me. I'm out a ton of money (like $15,000 between work and tickets), out of a job, can't move to Japan to look after my mother-in-law, can't go to most countries for a visit (my passport says deported on it now).

I'm royally fucked by a government that's not even my own because of their own retarded stupidity. Fuck them.

Jon

Morale of the story kids... don't steal.

Or if you do... don't get caught.

Seriously, you can blame the american gov't all you want, but you were the one who stole the duct tape man.

Why you'd steal the duct tape anyways? I mean it couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 bucks.

T-Bonizzle

He should blame the American government, because he's been reported as an international criminal for the equivalent of a misdemeanor charge on a sealed record.

Mike Powers

I feel like there is a part of the story missing, because as is it just doesn't make sense.

If he had not stolen the 3 dollar product form his place of work, this wouldn't have happened at all, nothing would be on his record at anytime. The fact is they have his fingerprints on record because he stole 3 dollars of product and got caught. This "fuck the government for fucking up something because I fucked around as a kid and got caught" act is stupid as hell. Actions have consequences.

Ninja edit: I was wondering what the hell that 1.60 was (didn't have an symbol)

I'll compare this to a neighborhood. Just because one house forgave another for it's actions doesn't mean the others do.

The governements, notice the s, are doing their protocols. "Hey this doesn't seem right. No record, but prints? Let's be safe" "Hey, we're getting this info from them, what do you think?....Alright we'll take care of it then. I wasn't sure left it up to you." "Hey, these two guys are saying this, we'll help you out."

Does it suck that it's happening? Yes. But like Jon said, moral of the story. Don't steal, or don't get caught. And the easiest way to not get caught....don't steal.

Fuck ESPN3.

Plain and simple.

This past weekend I was looking forward to sitting down with the wife and watching our CFL Labor Day Weekend games. And they decided (during the course of a single game) to show this goddamn Republican PAC's political attack ad from Florida 42 times. That is not an exaggeration. I kept track. In a three hour span.

Monday was a little better. During the course of the doubleheader, they showed the exact SAME ad ANOTHER 42 times. Jeez, I can only imagine how bad it would be for people that actually LIVE in Florida! I sent ESPN an e-mail complaining and got nothing but a stock response letter. In other words, they're not gonna do jack about it.

I abhor every commercial they showed. That was until I realized legally, they can't show the TV ads as part of a contract to live stream it, hence why sometimes when you see "Your program is not live right now" its because the TV stations are showing their local commercials (car dealerships, attorney, local station stuff). They use to just have the title card with stock music for awhile until they realized they could get people to pay for that time.

You'll hear same sort of thing when you stream radio stations online, but they'll just play the music they have instead of filler ads.

So in short I hate it a little less, but I'm with you on that.
