Matthew Vaughn to Produce "Fantastic Four" Reboot

Mark Millar, the creator of such comic books as "Wanted" and "Kick-Ass," was recently hired by 20th Century Fox to be a consultant on the studio's superhero films. And now comes word that Millar was able to convince "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn to produce Fox's upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot.

"Just off the phone with Fox and some excellent news -- Matthew Vaughn is producing Josh Trank's 'Fantastic Four' reboot," Millar wrote on Twitter. Trank, who last directed "Chronicle," will begin shooting "Fantastic Four" soon, since the film is set to hit theaters during Spring of 2015.

There's no word what the story will be about, but Galactus will likely be involved, since Fox refused to give up the character to Marvel when it was given the choice to keep Daredevil instead. It's also likely that Fox will use Marvel's model of giving characters their own films before bringing them together for "The Avengers"-style movie.

GM Franchise

What other characters does Fox have is what I want to know.

James, everytime you post in the OOC your perception of "yourself" is just as apparently off key 'in game' as GM Franchise as it is 'out of game' as yourself lol.

Now I know how Franchise feels every game.  Speak your mind and you get singled out for it.

Another pointless reboot.

Agreed. What is it with Hollywood making the same films over and over and over again?

This whole 'reboot' culture is ridiculous. Make sequels so stories can at least progress, rather than being re-written.
