Romo accuses Redskins defenders of cheating on snap count

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo blamed the Washington Redskins for the problems he had fielding snaps from center Phil Costa in Monday night's sloppy 18-16 Dallas victory. Costa snapped the ball a number of times before the quarterback was ready.

Romo accused Redskins defenders of yelling out their own snap count, attempting to fool Costa, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

"We've got to get the snap thing worked out," Romo told reporters after the game. "We'll get that worked out. We'll tell the league and see if that's something that can be fixed because you're not supposed to be able to do that. So we'll see. But we can't have that happen. We shouldn't have been in that situation."

NFL rules prohibit defensive players from making "disconcerting signals" by pretending to call out the quarterback’s cadence.

Costa, however, said he just has to do a better job.

"It's just being patient," Costa said. "Just trying not to hear them and trying to hear Tony."

Notes: Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said cornerback Terence Newman was being tested after Monday night's game for a possible concussion. "It looks like Newman was a big help to us," Jones said, according to the Dallas Morning News. "Looks like he had some concussion there. He looked alert, and I don't have a report on him." ... The Cowboys' last nine games have been decided by three points or less, the longest such streak in NFL history.

I have come to notice that there are a lot of cry babies in football. I mean, seriously, you risk getting hit by a muscle bound 250 pound guy or a fat ass 400 pound guy; but you bitch about distractions. I am sorry, when I played baseball, we had people making distracting noises while we batted, hoping to throw us off and get us to hit poorly; and hitting a baseball is one of the hardest things to do in any sport. In baseball history only a few people have gotten a hit 40% of the time in a season. Do baseball players bitch and moan, no, it's part of the fucking game. Tony Romo is a fucking cry baby.

Never call him a cry baby again , to be honest , it just shit that get pick up by the media to get a story going , same as the Vick getting hit later and not getting calls thing, or the fake injury to slow down the no-huddle offense .
