Outside of the story details of the comic book that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is based on, we know very little about the movie. In fact, it hasn't even been confirmed what role Peter Dinklage will be playing.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

[spoiler]But now, NY Mag has uncovered some details, including that Dinklage will playing Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels, and Josh Helman will be a young version of William Stryker, played by Brian Cox in "X2: X-Men United."

The magazine also uncovered a few plot details, stating: "Ellen Page returns as Kitty from 'X-Men: The Last Stand,' but this time she uses her powers to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future."

Meanwhile, director Bryan Singer posted a photo of Lucas Till on the set of "X-Men: Days of Future Past," confirming the return of Alex Summers/Havok. Check out the photo below.

The Trask Industries Sentinels Are Upon Us!! So Says This New X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Media...

SPOILER ALERT FOR THE WOLVERINE AS WELL!!!

So if you've seen THE WOLVERINE and stuck around to watch the mid-credits sting at the end, you've probably conjectured that Trask has something to do with the next X-MEN movie, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

And, as some readers may've already gathered (especially if you saw THIS at San Diego Comic Con this year), if Trask is around (whether as characters or as an industry), then their Sentinels may not be far behind.  For the uninitiated, Sentinels and Mutants (like our X-MEN heroes) don't play well together.  In fact, Sentinels kinda hunt Mutants and stuff.

As such the viral publicity reel below doesn't come as a tremendous surprise, but is nifty and hugely intriguing all the same.

Trask Industries: Your Future

So are a few photos seen on the Trask Industries site...

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST opens May 2014.

James, everytime you post in the OOC your perception of "yourself" is just as apparently off key 'in game' as GM Franchise as it is 'out of game' as yourself lol.

Now I know how Franchise feels every game.  Speak your mind and you get singled out for it.

20th Century Fox has been showing promo images of Sentinels, the robots that will hunt mutants in "X-Men: Days of Future Past." And today, director Bryan Singer has unveiled a full shot of a Sentinel. Check it out below.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" has Kitty Pryde sending her mind back to her younger self in order to warn the X-Men that Senator Robert Kelly's assassination will result in a future where Sentinels rule the United States and mutants live in internment camps.

The new movie co-stars Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Peter Dinklage, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing and Boo Boo Stewart. It's set to hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.

When director Bryan Singer was still putting together the cast for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," he was asked if Storm (Halle Berry) and Cyclops (James Marsden) would be brought back. Singer said that he would love to have both characters in his film.

Then later, Berry and Marsden were spotted sitting next to each other on a plane headed for Montreal, where "Days of Future Past" has been filming. We already know that Berry will reprise her role, but we have yet to get a solid confirmation about Marsden.

The problem is that Cyclops died in "X-Men: The Last Stand," but Singer has been promising to use his film's time-travel elements to "correct a few things." Unfortunately, he won't be correcting anything to do with Cyclops.

In a new interview with Marsden, the actor confirmed that he will not be brought back for "Days of Future Past." He said: "If this next film really works, Bryan has said he wants to fix a few things, so hopefully [Cyclops' death] is one of them. I always liked Cyclops, but they have a lot of characters that they have to parcel out, spend time with each one, make sure everyone feels like they've been given their due, introduce them appropriately."
